Acton Carnival
Next Carnival: July 2008
Acton Carnival takes place every year in July, and is the highlight of Acton's calendar. There are around 30 carnival groups that take to the streets of Acton, in a spectacle of colour, costume, music and dance. The Parade leaves Woodlands Park at 1pm, travelling through the streets of Acton, via Churchfield Road, to Acton Park.
Those taking part in the Carnival Parade represent the rich cultural mix of Acton, and includes Caribbean, Chinese, African, European and Latin American groups.
The Event has something for everyone, and if last year is anything to go by attracting some 10,000 visitors, Acton celebrates in style.
Hours: Parade 12am-7pm
