Afro hair and beauty products – from the click of a mouse to your doorstep!

Bad hair days can often be overcome with a trip to the salon or maybe a dab of hair product specific to your hair type. Living in London you can off course just pop to the nearest black hair retailer, find a good salon or look for that hair product your favourite magazine recommended.

That’s all well and good except off course if you live outside of London or a major city.

The lack of products or advice combined with expensive trips to London or the nearest major just to purchase black hair and beauty products is now a thing of the past thanks to a new black hair and beauty website called Afrotherapy.com. The site is managed by Ruth Gyebi, a Bracknell, Berkshire resident who recognised how multicultural the town has become and quickly realised she wasn’t the only one in that frustrating position.

Afrotherapy.com offers unique brands for the Afro hair and beauty buyer and has an online consultation service for customers that helps them to determine the best products for their hair or skin type and particular needs. In addition, a team of experts will answer all your questions on hair, skin care and beauty and you will find products from around the world that meet the specific hair and beauty needs of people of black and mixed race such as Mizani, Mixed Chicks and IMAN Cosmetics.

Ruth Gyebi says, "One of the most exciting things so far was meeting the representatives from IMAN, the world famous supermodel, who were so impressed by the website that they agreed we could stock their full range of products on the website. They told us this is very unique as they normally only sell in large department stores."

Ruth continues "Internet access is now readily available in most homes and customers no longer need to take the expensive trips into London. They can simply log on to www.Afrotherapy.com, order their products and it will be delivered directly to their doorstep."
