First time author, Nadia Denton presents in The Black British Filmmaker's Guide to Success a valuable resource that will enable film practitioners to achieve greater success with their endeavours. The Black British Filmmaker's Guide to Success addresses the need for an up-to-date, practical resource that caters specifically for black content work.

This reference manual - the first of its kind - contains 42 interviews with significant 21st century black Filmmakers and decision makers in the industry, who share best practice tips and expertise. The book also includes detailed cultural specific listings.

The Black British Filmmaker's Guide to Success has been written for a variety of audiences. Primarily it is a resource for black British filmmakers and the international community of black filmmakers. However it also provides expert information for filmmakers making black content work, filmmakers working in other cultural specific genres and those teaching or learning about specific aspects of (black) film theory. In general it provides a better understanding of black content films and audiences.

The Black British Filmmaker's Guide to Success will enhance the reader's existing knowledge base; enable maximum success for the work produced and encourage smarter working practices.
