About RAFFA
Renewal, Advancement, Financial and Autonomy (RAFFA) International Development Agency was launched by the Church of God of Prophecy, at the House of Lords, hosted by Baroness Howells of St David last year and has to date helped individuals and organisations in Africa and the Caribbean through active fundraising through recycling shoes, phones and coins.
Each May, RAFFA organize a series of activities in partnership with Faith-based organizations and local communities to promote awareness and understanding of international development issues focusing on environmental, financial, health, learning, research, trade.
Working in partnership other charities, voluntary and private sector organisations, RAFFA, aims to set standards and explore innovative ways of making best use of resources such a local knowledge and cultural heritage, to provide a lasting legacy, that can be measured by the economic benefit and overall outcomes obtained by the local communities.
