CALYPSO TRIVIA...

The first recordings of calypso music were by the 'Lovey's Orchestra' in 1912.

In the US during the 1950's, Louis Farrakhan ( his mother was from St Kitts and his father, Jamaica) was a popular calypso singer known as 'The Charmer'.
