Culturama is a carnival celebration held over 5 days during Emancipation Day weekend. It started in 1974, as a platform to highlight and maintain traditional local art forms. The island lights up and the party starts!
The island comes alive with a host of arts, crafts, music, drama, and calypso events, including the Emancipation Day rall
y, concerts, J'ouvert and a "Mr Kool" contest for the best-looking male.
There is no shortage os things to do, while soaking up the Nevis culture and hospitality.
