Euten Lindsay is a West Indian chef whose main speciality is 'Fusion', a mixture of spices from Africa and the Caribbean blended with British and classical French food .
Euten currently works as Head Chef at the prestigious Addington Palace, a Grade II listed mansion in Croydon, Surrey, which hosts conferences, corporate events, gala dinners, and weddings. He first joined Addington Palace in June 2003 as Sous Chef/African Caribbean consultant (since 2003) but his excellence led him to being promoted to Head Chef less than a year later.
Since working at Addington Palace, Euten has served a wide range of different clients and different cultures including Russian, Moroccan, French, Kosher, Indian, Oriental, and Caribbean.
In the '90s, he ran his own restaurant 'Euten's, in London's Covent Garden, shortly followed by 'The Palm Tree', a Caribbean restaurant he co-owned in Ipswich.
Euten has worked as a chef at several top London restaurants including the famous The Ivy, Jo-Allens, De-Lugo, Smiths, and Peg's (of Covent Garden) and can boast to have served many prestigious clients including the late Princess Diana, Ike Turner, George Michael, MP Paul Boateng, musician Shaggy, footballer Ian Wright, Cedella Booker [Bob Marley's mother] and Dave Stewart (The Eurythmics).
Euten was a finalist in the Caribbean Food & Drink Awards 06/07 (Caribbean Food Emporium), held in November 2006.
Jamaican-born Euten, 43, lives in South London with his wife, and has five children.
