Big & Bashy End Of Year Party 08 Fling Foot Dance Off Final @ Vibe Bar And Gallery, Brick Lane.

FLING FOOT!! The uptempo new bashment riddim bellows from the speakers as I approach the cobbled entrance to Londons Famous Brick Lane haunt, The Vibe Bar.

After a recent transformation this popular Bar and courtyard has now expanded into a retro styled upstairs bar and gallery area, which on this particular night is filled with smiley faced revellers, not only admiring the urban art on show, but also the hugely entertaining Fling Foot Dance Off.



Hosted by Nike Choreographer Kymberlee Jay and championed by Flava TV, this dance off was full of thrills and extraordinary dance manouveres, only possibly seen before on the dancefloors of Kingston, Jamaica!! The winner on the night, was a dancer from Hackney by the name of Renee George, who mentioned after her win "I thought, why not!" as the reason why she entered, and now is the official Fling Foot choreographer for the forthcoming video.



The night also saw performances from producer Fresharda and all artists featured on the riddim + support from new girl group GL and veteran junglist Demolition Man. The party wrapped up in time for me to grab a bagel on the way home, all in all a good nights entertainment even if I did twist my ankle on the cobbles trying to Fling Foot!!!
