WHAT'S ON
Haiti Fundraiser
'Two years on after the devastating earthquake, Haiti is still in need of help. United Haitians in the United Kingdom (UHUK) is a Haitian-run registered charity that supported a school destroyed in the catastrophe.
UHUK is tirelessly working to raise funds to have the school rebuilt and help Haiti's children receive a quality education. We also endeavour to share Haiti's indomitable history and culture throughout the UK.
A big part of Haitian culture is its music and on the 30th of March, rhythmic, toe-tapping, dance 'til you sweat-tunes will fill the air at Notting Hill's fashionable Mau Mau Bar! Live performances from MOBO Award Winner Fola Phillips, Frenglish Connexion, Jean-Claude, Delila Black and high-energy kompa (Haiti's native music) will be spun by our resident DJ Christo!
Come one, come all and help us celebrate Haiti's magic and be a part of restoring it to her former glory!!'
WHEN: 30th March 2012
WHERE: 265 Mau Mau Bar Portobello Road, London
