As you all know, G MaG has hooked up with 'Lifestyle On BEN' to bring the magazine with its eclectic mix of cutting edge Black music to your front room via the TV or PC...
So, it's my job to book ALL the artists for the Friday morning programmes on a weekly basis... a different genre each week on a format rotation basis....
Our first show (last Friday) had Reggae artist, Colin B in the spotlight - next up is Sharon St. Louis (representing Gospel) profiling tomorrow (Feb 2).
Next week, we're looking to have a R&B artist (9) followed by an African artist (16) then it's back to Reggae again (23) with myself and others from the G MaG Crew...
The rotation for March is looking like Soca (2), Hip-hop (9), Jazz (16), Gospel (23) and Reggae/Bashment (30) with G MaG....
In April, it's back to the first rotation of Gospel then R&B etc... but, obviously, this may vary according to artist availability, special themes or seasons.
Ok, in order to get everybody involved... we want you guys to have a say on which artists gets the spotlight...
So, if you're an artist, manager or friend of an artist then get in touch ASAP and let us know which dates/genres we can get booked up in advance...
Remember, 'Lifestyle On BEN' is aired LIVE on Friday mornings between 10:00 and 12:00. Arrival time for ALL artists at the West End Studios is 11.00am.... full itinerary will given to individuals as appropriate.
