Miss Sandra Bee

Sandra Bee is best known as Petronella from BBC2's Brothers and Sisters. Sandra is rapidly establishing herself as one of the most popular and exciting performers of her generation, in both the comedy and dramas fields.

Her bright personality and cheeky grin have won the affections of many. She has already attracted huge attention and a wide fan base for her portrayal of 'Petronella', the dance hall queen who took the first series of BBC2's hit drama series 'Brothers and Sisters' by storm.

A mark of Sandra's dramatic and emotive acting ability cam about in top dramas in Casualty, The Bill, Murder of Stephen Lawrence, In Defence and The Knock. Her versatility came to the fore, when she created the character 'Shaniqua' for a striking two-drama mononlogue piece in Crucial Films Windrush Still Here series for the BBC.

Sandra made good use of the chance to display a whole range of comical characters, ranging from sophisticated to streetwise when she started in the fast moving sketch show Waiting To Inhale which ran for tow sell-out seasons at the Theatre Royal Stratford East before going on a highly successful tour.

She appeared in the award winning drama Baby Father on BBC2 and acting as Jack Dee's side kick in ITV's Tunnel of Love and also appeared in the top sitcom My Family on BBC1, and made her debut to the big screen in Miramax top thriller Derailed, alongside Jennifer Aniston and Clive Owen.

The duel roles of 'Princess and Sorceress' in New Peckham Variety Theatre's 'Snow Queen' demonstrated both her commitment to supporting community theatre and also her rapport with young audiences while, in addition to her TV popularity, Sandra has also built a sizeable following on the comedy circuit.

Most recent in her sell-out one woman show 'A Night To Remember' she showed her gift for physical comedy, drawing on her background as a trained dancer. Also performing in 'Sandra Bee and Friends' at Stratford Town Hall and 'Sandra Bee's Luving' for 'Upfront Comedy' at The Clock Tower.

Sandra was most recently seen as 'Shenzi' the hyena in Disney's award winning West End musical, The Lion King.
