Salema Junior Radford

Nineteen year old Salema, originally from Norwich with English/Jamaican parentage, is studying Medicine at Newcastle University. She has made it through to the 2009 Miss Student Uk Grand Final.

"I entered Miss Student UK for fun, but when I got through to the Grand Final it really boosted my confidence and I'm hoping with public support I can do really well in the competition. I love dancing and sports like swimming, yoga and badminton.

I'll try anything as long as its fun and legal, and I think thats a really good thing for life in general. It means I have already done lots of exciting things like meet Gordon Brown at number 10, fit women for bra's, teach disabled people dance, and lots more!"

The Miss Student UK Grand Final will be held in KoKo, Camden Town, London 14th June 2009.
