Bank Holiday 2009
brought two days of Carnvial spirit to Notting Hill, withn estimated 220,000 people turning out for children's day on Sunday, and 400,00 on the Monday, when temperatures reached a scorching 26C. Congratulations to Ebony Steel band for winning Panorama once again on the Saturday night.
This year the procession of parade floats started at 9 a.m., an hour earlier than normal for the 3.5 mile route. A good time was had by all.! Bring on Carnival 2010!
