Call for Community RepsCall for Community Reps to join Team Hackney - Hackney's Community Empowerment Network (CEN) is recruiting six people to join the network and to become community representatives on Team Hackney's Safer Cleaner Partnership.The role of the community representative is to ensure that the voices of Hackney residents, and especially under-represented communities within the borough, are heard at strategic level. Those applying should have knowledge of the voluntary and community sector (VCS), and of local policy including the Local Area Agreement and Community Strategy, as well as knowledge and experience relevant to one of the three Safer Cleaner sub-groups: Drugs and Alcohol, Domestic Violence and Anti-Social Behaviour and Respect. The role is voluntary and CEN representative can expect to spend up to two days a month preparing for and attending meetings.
