Shine TV

Shine TV are looking for show-stopping singing groups who can dance or are willing to try some choreography to compete live on television for a life changing prize! The show is called Don't Stop Believing and will air on Channel 5 over the summer. We're looking for musical performance groups to take part in live shows. The group can be of any size as long as there are over 5 members, with a minimum age of 14. If successful, the group would be needed for one day for a non televised audition in late May. Then successful groups will be needed for two live shows (heat and final) in late July/early August. The live shows involve five acts and the public vote their favourite act through to the grand final each week. After five heats the five acts that won their heats compete against each other in the final. All the dates are TBC at the moment, but we can let you know them as soon as soon as they are confirmed. Coach Trip

'Coach Trip' takes 7 pairs of friends or family around many European countries and cities. Each day there are two activities ranging from bobsleighing to glass blowing! But at the end of each day the least popular tourists can be voted off and sent home, to be replaced by new tourists the next day. The Farm

The BBC is preparing to shine a light on the demanding, unpredictable and diverse world of smallholding by challenging 10 novice couples to take on their very own small farm. Filmed over the summer the programme will see the couples learn just the basics they need, before decamping to a farm in the beautiful British countryside where they will be discovering all areas of farm life, from animal husbandry to coping with the often not so glorious summer weather. The series will culminate in the winning pair getting the opportunity to live and work on their own small farm more permanently, forging ahead with smallholding towards their owns dreams.

Applications are being welcomed from couples of all ages and relationships from married couples to siblings and friends, however an obvious passion for growing food, caring for animals, sustainability or food is must for the show, as the BBC would like it to be a credible and hopefully successful small holding partnership that comes out of the project. They certainly won't be shying away from showing just how tough smallholding can be or underestimating what a test this will be for the rookies, however for the right people it should be a wonderful and life changing opportunity.
