Birmingham celebrity chef Rustie Lee is about to host the biggest Caribbean indoor party in the country at the Aston Arena in Birmingham on July 22nd and 23rd 2011.

'Rustie Lee's Caribbean Live 2011' is a celebration of all things Caribbean. The Aston Arena will be completely transformed to re create the beauty of the sun kissed islands of the Caribbean and the artist line up for the show covers all styles of music, from Reggae right through to the famous Soca flag party.
Caribbean food will be served in a specially created food court and there are many chances to try delicious cocktails and other refreshments.

Machel Montano the world's foremost SOCA artist will play an exclusive show as part of a three date European tour at the Aston Arena in Birmingham on Friday the 12th of August 2011.
"He usually play's for audiences of 30000 plus people so we are ecstatic that we've got him to come to Aston' says Rustie who's own event 'Rustie Lee's Caribbean Live 2011" on July 22 and 23 will be the first in a series of re-launch concerts at the Arena.
Machel Montano is not only one of the Caribbean's youngest performers, but one of its most successful. With his unique blend of soca and dancehall, and sensual stage persona, Montano has risen to the upper echelon of Caribbean music.
He is the frontman of the immensely popular soca band Xtatik, and is noted for his high energy, fast-paced, and often unpredictable on-stage performances. During his career, which spans over 25 years, he has recorded several songs alongside many of Caribbean music's most popular acts, such as Alison Hinds, Beenie Man, Calypso Rose, Burning Flames, Drupatee, Red Rat, Shaggy, Sparrow, Denise Belfon, Destra, Wyclef Jean, Vybz Kartel, M.O.P, Black Stalin, Mr. Vegas, Doug E Fresh and many others. He now stands as the most sought after soca act in the World.
Machel has also recently successfully collaborated with American chart topping rapper PIT BULL.

'Rustie Lee - A Taste of the Caribbean', her first recipe book since 1984, featuring 120 recipes for food and drink from across the Caribbean.
The recipes include Caribbean favourites such as Rice and Peas, Ackee and Saltfish, Jerk Chicken and traditional Journey Cakes, as well as Rustie's own recipes for Caribbean Christmas Cake and the rum-based Rustie's Aphrodisiac Cocktail.
They are complemented with colour photographs and an accompanying DVD, which shows Rustie cooking 12 of her favourite dishes, personally selected from her book.

The DVD was partly
filmed in Jamaica, with Rustie returning to her home country for the first time in ten years.
Rustie said: "I had a lot of fun compiling the book and filming the DVD.
"I hope that people will enjoy the book, have a lot of fun trying the recipes and experiencing a taste of the Caribbean."
