St Pauls Carnival is one of the highlights of the Bristol calendar of events. St Pauls Carnival has been running since 1967, with a break in 2006. It has grown year on year and now attracts audiences of over 60,000 each year. St Pauls Carnival is continually evolving with its programme of events working to ensure that it gets better. Thousands of people get invloved including musicians, sound systems, children and families, artists, all contributing to make it a successful carnival event.
The carnival parade and spectacular outfits, sound systems playing a wide variety of music on every corner, traditional Jerk Chicken stalls and other food, local and national acts on the Festival stage.
Hours: Carnival starts at 11am until 2am. Procession 1pm - 3.30pm (starts and finishes from Carnival Village in Portland Square).
