MISS TRINIDAD & TOBAGO UK 2005

The twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago will be once again in the Spot light on Saturday 20th August 2005 at the Porchester Hall Bayswater London when Carivog International once again host the Miss Trinidad and Tobago UK pageant under the patronage of the High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago Her Excellency Mrs Glenda Morean-Phillips.

The purpose of this event is to select a Trinbagonian beauty from the legacy of their diverse multicultural heritage to be ambassador in the United Kingdom which can open opportunities at local UK and international events

The Miss Trinidad & Tobago UK cultural extravaganza attracts thousands of people of Trinidad and Tobago national, and supporting Caribbean and UK nationals. The general public is allowed to select the Trinidad and Tobago UK website queen.

Participation in this queen pageant uplifts the self-esteem of participants and strengthens their ability to cope with life’s challenges. It open’s doors to opportunities that would not have been available otherwise. An invitation to ladies aged 18yrs to 28yrs and of Trinidad and Tobago parentage or at least one parent residing in the United Kingdom. The selected delegates will be taken on a journey of self discovery and intellectual development as they participate in Holistic workshops courtesy of Carivog International UK, Carnival costume building training programs, attend events like Nottinghill Carnival Gala, Trini Picnic, Regent's Park, Calypso/ Mas band events and many other activities.

On the night of the show they will represent both selected areas of Trinidad and Tobago and their United Kingdom area of residence. They will parade in Carnival Costumes, traditional wear, swimsuit and gowns.
