"On Da Road 2 Ballin" is an all singing and dancing
Hip Hop musical produced by the young people of South East London - some of which have been in similar situations themselves.
"On Da Road 2 Ballin" explores some of the consequences of getting involved with knives, guns and the wrong crowd. One of the most powerful messages it conveys to its audience is that for every action, there’s a consequence; whether it's good or bad there is always a consequence. And early reviews suggest that it is very effective at getting that message across.
"It showed me how simple things can change your life and most big issues start from a small incident. So it showed me deal with the mole hill before it becomes a mountain" Rebecca Hills 23yrs
"On Da Road 2 Ballin" is supported and funded by Big Boost, Youth Opportunity Fund, Albany Theatre and Holy Trinity Centre. The musical also has a huge variety of supporting artists performing including: Maxwell D, Underground unit and many more.
"On Da Road 2 Ballin" is showing at the Albany Theatre, Deptford, London SE8 on 17th April 2008.
