about design. He has two new labels, SOULJAH and LABL on the way, and a new shop opening in East London.

Tony Philips creates sexy tailored clothes, in a range of fabrics to fit women of all sizes. Beautifully cut jackets, flowing dresses feature in his ready to wear seletion. Wedding dresses are another speciality, stylish bridal gowns, with dried flowers delicately sewn into the fabrics, give any bride that special touch.
Q.Have you always been interested in Design? Yes, I have always seen myself as a designer, when I was young I was always painting people, but it was the clothes that I was really interested in. I then went on to study art and design in Colchester.
Q.Do you have any influences? Not really, I like the Patrick Caulfield the artist, for he graphic, strong lines and detail. His pieces are amazing and they are all done by hand. In contrast, the work of Andy Goldsworthy, who uses natural forms to create beautiful pieces of art.
Tell us more about your wedding dresses I make around 5 wedding dresses a year, which I enjoy. I will work closely with the client to create the perfect dress for the day.
