New Clothing Brand launches this Summer. The Windrush 48 Clothing brand has been created to reignite the awareness of this historic event through fashion.
What is Windrush 48? The brand name is named after the passenger ship, The Empire Windrush which sailed from Kingston, Jamaica to Tilbury docks in Essex in 1948.
All the limited edition Wind Rush 48 T shirts, are made of highest quality cottons. The cotton weights may vary, depending on the type of fit.
The range of designs are available on products including T-shirts, Screen Printed Posters, Wind Rush 48 Screensavers.
This poster is available in United80, Brixton. the posters are limited edition only 100 items and are screen printed on high quality paper.

All designs have been created by illustrator Oliver Walker, " I was born in London, of Jamaican origin, grew up in Brixton, studied design in London and designed/illustrated/developed Wind Rush 48."

It is also a story that I feel is being neglected because of a lack of identification of the past. These proud stories are not passed on from generation to generation. "
