Soul & Reggae vocalist RAY SIMPSON will be joining Jamaican sax man RAY CARLESS live on stage for another CLUB SKAAVILLE TIGHTEN UP SESSION.
Carless & Simpson were both members of the UK’s top soul band INCOGNITO and they’ve both worked with with top calibre artistes like SOUL II SOUL & MAXI PRIEST.
Ray Simpson, an incredible singer performer and songwriter kicked off his career in the reggae music environment but was even more comfortable & successful when he slipped over to the Soul side of things.
He’s had a very diverse and productive career during which Acid Jazz Pioneers INCOGNITO and RnB group SOUL II SOUL made good use of his vocal prowess on several major releases..
As well as being a dynamic performer, Ray Simpson is a hard working songwriter whose credits include compositions for popular Reggae artists: SUGAR MINOTT, AL CAMPBELL, BARRY BOOM and MAXI PRIEST to name but a few.
