Urban Retreat's seven Afrodisiac products were created by Ayo Laguda, leading session hair stylist and British Beauty Expert at Urban Retreat. Ayo has spent over 20 years styling hair for top fashion shows, magazine shoots and entertainers from the world of cinema and music.

Ayo's career has taken him to Paris and New York styling hair for magazines including Vogue, Elle and Marie-Claire and several successful advertising campaigns for brands such as Prada, Miu Miu, and Hermes. His backstage work has included some of the world's top fashion shows including Prada, Dolce Gabbana and Yohji Yamamoto. He has also worked with some of the most respected photographers in the industry.

Urban Retreat Afrodisiac Deep Treatment £8.95 (200ml)This product was created for singer Sade. The treatment leaves hair soft and very silky. Contains keratin, oils of rosehip, sweet cane, geranium, West Indian bay, vetiver, West Indian sandalwood and Peru balsam.

Cleanse hair before using this concentrated product. Apply sparingly and distribute evenly through damp hair using a wide tooth comb. Leave for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Use at least once per week.

Urban Retreat Afrodisiac Shampoo £6.95 (250ml)
Gently cleanses hair. Contains passion fruit extract, oils of avocado, mandarin and eucalyptus. Apply a small amount of shampoo to wet hair, work in to a rich gentle lather with a fingertip massage on the scalp. Rinse well, repeat if necessary. Use everyday.

Urban Retreat Afrodisiac Conditioner £6.95 (250ml)
Contains passion fruit fragrance to inspire calm. Softens and moisturises hair. This conditioner is enriched with passion fruit extract, oils of olive, mandarin and eucalyptus. Distribute evenly but sparingly through hair after shampooing. Leave on for two minutes then rinse well.

Urban Retreat Afrodisiac Straightener £7.95 (125ml)
A straightening balm containing rose amber fragrance to inspire love. Gives a sleek and smooth finish. The Straightener contains aloe vera as well as oils of rosehip, sweet cane, West Indian sandalwood and vetiver.

Apply a small amount to damp hair. Section off and blow dry straight, a section at a time. Use everyday.

Urban Retreat Afrodisiac Detangler £7.95 (125ml)
Inspired by Ayo's daughter Nyasa this product detangles and conditions. Enriched with aloe vera, pro vitamin B5, rosehip extract, sweet cane and oils of West Indian sandalwood and West Indian bay leaves.

Spray on to wet or dry hair to aid in detangling. Also good to spray on before braiding hair to give better control. Use everyday.

Urban Retreat Afrodisiac Texture Control £7.95 125ml
A multi-functional styling cream that gives natural, flexible hold and was created for Kelly Hoppen. Texture control contains amber rose fragrance and is enriched with vitamin E, oils of rose hip, sweet cane, babassu and West Indian sandalwood.

For loose curls distribute a small amount through damp hair and leave to dry naturally. Can also be used after setting or tonging. Rub a small amount into the palm of the hand and run it through the hair to separate curls.

Urban Retreat Afrodisiac Gel Wax £7.95 (100ml)
A multifunctional styling gel that gives great curl definition. It contains vitamin E, B5 and oils of rose hip, sweet cane, vetiver, and West Indian sandalwood.
Apply a small amount to wet or dry hair and work through to the ends. Can also be used to smooth and shine short hair. Apply a small amount to dry or damp hair to create your individual style. Washes out after each shampoo with no residue. Store in a cool place. Use everyday.
