Getting Married in Aruba

The information below is a basic guide to what you need and who to contact for getting married in Aruba.
Aruba Marriage License Laws 
Waiting period: all documents to be submitted at least one month prior (by courier) to the desired wedding date

Documentation from country of citizenship verifying neither party is currently married.

If you are staying at a resort, consult with the manager to help you make arrangements to secure your marriage license
Identification required for Aruba Marriage License

Proof of citizenship from resident country is required such as valid passport or birth certificate and photo driver’s license

Copies of birth certificates with raised seal

Proof of divorce or death certificate if applicable

All documents must be in English, if not, they must be translated and notarized
Entry Requirements
A full British passport of at least six months validity is required for all British nationals visiting Antigua. British nationals do not require a visa.
