Do: Eat plenty of healthy food to nourish your skin and tone your body.

Do: Be so organised that you can spend the day before relaxing in a spa, having a facial, manicure and pedicure.

Do: When looking for your perfect dress, be realistic, and keep your own sense of style. Try not to be tempted to follow Celebrity styling as it is often impractical.

Do: Once you have decided on your dress then work out your hair style as certain aspects of your dress design will determine what will suit you best.

Do: Keep your hairstyle realistic - bigger is not always better and you will be wearing it like that all day!

Don't: Don't go for dramatic changes at the last minute - if it goes wrong, there will nothing that anyone can do about it!

Do: Hire your stylist to stay with you throught the day, so you will be able to have professional touch ups before any photo's are taken.

Don't: Don't neglect your feet, elbows and knees that extra attention.

Do: Smile!

Dont drink too much the night before....I did , and regretted it on the day.

Make sure you get a good reliable caterer and professional chauffeur if you need one. Ladies make sure you hire a qualified make up artist to do your make up. I saw many that I wasn't happy with until I found the right one. GOOD LUCK

Spend money on a photographer or videographer. I am so glad we did.
