Peter Tosh, (real name -Winston Hubert McIntosh) born on the 19th Oct 1944 in Jamaica.
A legendary reggae artist and one of the original members of legendary reggae band The Wailers (1963 – 1974), along with Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer.

In 1976 is solo debut track ‘Legalize It’ (CBS Records) became a huge hit and an early endorsement of marijuana legalization.
Equal Rights, his second album followed in 1977.
After a successful career travelling the world he returned home to Jamaica.

He was tragically killed at his home during a robbery in 1987.

In August 2012 it was announced that Tosh would be posthumously awarded Jamaica’s fourth highest honour, the Order of Merit, in October that year
