Ladera Resort, St. Lucia’s iconic small hotel overlooking the World Heritage Pitons, celebrates Creole Heritage month with a Sunday Celebration Buffet Lunch every Sunday throughout the month of October for US$25 (EC$68) per person excluding beverages, tax and service charge.
“Every day is a celebration of St. Lucia at Ladera, ” said Olivier Bottois, Ladera’s VP of Sales and Marketing, “but Jounen Kweyol gives us a further opportunity to highlight the incredible richness of St. Lucia’s history and culture. ”
The Sunday Buffet features authentic St. Lucian favorites, such as Green Fig and Salt Fish Salad, Pumpkin Gratin, Curried Goat, and of course the traditional Sunday Barbeques of Freshly caught Fish, Marinated Chicken and Pork. “No buffet is complete without dessert though, ” says Bottois, “and the dessert table at Sunday Brunch will be absolutely scrumptious! Homemade desserts include signature Chocolate Oreos, Fresh Fruit Mousses, Bread Pudding and more surprises to tempt the tastebuds. ”
Weekly entertainment will be provided by the local Shak Shak Band, again emphasizing Ladera’s commitment to authenticity in every facet. “The music of St. Lucia is lively and happy and the perfect accompaniment to a delightful meal overlooking the spiritual heart of St. Lucia. Ladera provides the unique experience of offering an immersive buffet of the senses, as well as a fabulous buffet of Creole food. ” says Bottois.
