New Talent at the SBOL Fashion Show 2007
One of the top fashion show events for unearthing the newest and freshest cutting edge fashion labels returns in its fourth year and is likely to be the biggest show yet.
SBOL Fashion Show 2007 is held annually every summer and is designed to give exposure to the talents of fashion designers & models featured in the SBOL directory that also includes Actors, Dancers, Recording Artists, Film makers & Photographers.
The show, held in the West End on Wednesday 22nd August from 8pm – 2am at Sequoia @ Ruby Lo, 23 Orchard St London W1 features collections on display from Box Bagz, DMR Clothing, Don Fabio, Grace Shannon, Jewell Clothing & Simone Williams.
This year’s show is working in partnership with the charity “Rock Rehabilitation” designed to raise awareness of the difficult issues like re-education, reducing isolation, prejudice and exclusion amongst amputees in Uganda.
Up & coming rapper & producer PCT who has single handedly built up a strong international fan base, and set up his own record label Danger Money Records based in North London will be a special guest performing artist on the night adds –
“As I see it, Rock Rehabilitation is a charity improving a lot of very unfortunate people’s quality of life in a country with a history of civil war. Sometimes living in the UK, we don’t realise that however unfortunate things may be. The infrastructure here is more than adequate to tend to people who are less unfortunate. The SBOL Fashion Show gives new talent across the creative industries an opportunity to shine, and that’s always a good thing. Both of these things are definitely fantastic causes and I’m more than happy to be involved to help and support in a big way”. PCT will be performing his current single “Here We Go (Finally)” with the video currently played on rotation on Channel U.
Up for grabs is a prize raffle draw to win a photo shoot with SBOL Photography with proceeds going towards the Rock Rehabilitation charity. Goodie bag giveaways and an after party featuring a host of radio & club DJ’s including Jaysteppa (Raw Flex 103.6 FM), John Beatfreak (Déjà Vu 94.6 FM) KMT, DJ Tye & Rowdee Bubsie.
