London Spartans Basketball Club
London Spartans Basketball Club is based in Redbridge and provides opportunities for boys and girls aged between 8 – 18yrs of all abilities to play and enjoy the game. Since 2005 we have worked with over 3000 young people and taught in over 15 Schools. We have over 10 volunteers (coaches and junior staff) and work with 200 children each week.
The London Spartans Basketball Club strives to develop and improve overall health, well being and basketball skills. We encourage and support all of our young people, and stress the importance of education, giving back to the community through voluntary work, be great role models, citizens and a positive influence on their peers and the younger generation.
We provide elite player development, coach education and training and our proud to be recognised as one of the best junior clubs in the UK. We have 8 teams (boys and girls) that compete nationally and regionally. We are respected internationally from Europe to the USA and our coaches are amongst the best, combining basketball, mentoring and life skills teachings.
We are the only Basketball club within Redbridge and our coaches are regional representatives for the governing body (England Basketball). We work closely delivering to local schools and with the Redbridge sports development team.
