Carnival season kicking off in style next month

All of the culture, creativity and spectacle of carnival season is coming to the Tabernacle in Notting Hill next month (Saturday, 1st March) for the Global Carnival Showcase.

Brought to you by the UK Centre for Carnival Arts, this evening is set to show off the very best of the world’s carnivals, with live performances from internationally renowned artists such as the Engine Room, Mangrove Steel Band and DJ Hot Wax.

The evening will also transport you to sunnier climates, as live footage from Trinidad and Rio Carnivals will be streamed throughout the event.

Award-winning costumes from some of the UK’s largest carnivals will be on display too, offering the opportunity for people to see up close some of the dazzling art which makes carnival parades such a spectacle to watch.

Running from 6pm – 11.30pm, tickets cost just £10 or £5 for concessions. They are available to purchase now from www.tabernaclew11.com.
